Re: Tuesday 2nd September
hmm... good question...
i make Avatars using photoshop and stuff on the computer... have a collection of beads that i WAS going to start getting into again but haven;t had the chance... and have just started collecting to do some scrapbooking...
after the wedding maybe i'll finally have the chance to DO something.

Re: Tuesday 2nd September
I have gotten into knitting, but very basic scarves and baby blankets! I used to go to a bead/jewellery making class and still have the tools and heaps of beads stored away. Make candles and love scrapbooking.

Re: Tuesday 2nd September
I try to be. I do bits and pieces around the home. I decorated some canvas' for the boys toy room and Lachlans room. Make earrings and necklaces. That's about it so far. Would love to get a sewing machine, but have no where to put it.

Oh Chris do you have any photos of any of it? I have always thought to do the canvas for the girls room....as I say thought, lol. Think I'll do it and then forget. Although before Heidi was born I brought heaps of different coloured paints, well about 6 and DH, Kira and I did hand prints all over the canvas in different colours for her Heidi's room, kinda a gift from us to her. I have always wanted to do another one with all of us, family art, lol!
And I was just talking with my SIL2B about how we would both LOVE to be able to sew and make things, donna covers etc....Has anyone done that?

umm sorta Kel..actually I have made 'dolls' clothes in the past hehe they were really cute, I do enjoy sewing..my mum used to do it when she was younger and even made awesome things like wedding dresses (she made her own wedding dress and it was very beautiful)...so Id love to get into that sort of stuff, i can do simple things tho, i think the hardest part is working out the actual sewing machine!! (all the threads going here there and everywhere)

I used to paint, draw, crochet, scrapbook & make jewellery. But all I've done recently is decorate the nursery. I would love to be able to sew.

Do u mean patch work doona kel??
if so, i think thats prob one of the best things to start with sewing wise, coz u dont have to be precise as such..
u can get step by step directions on how to do it? just make sure u have extra material in case u make a mistake, just think if u do may a mistake stitching wise, it is always easily unstitched

Re: Tuesday 2nd September
I sometimes make jewellery (just beads and stuff) I make cards and do scrapping occasionally. I am learning to knit and hoping to learn to crochet soon too.

no sadly I wished I was. When I do get stuck into something I can be a little creative.. though I start and I usualy with those types of things get frustrated coz I have no idea if it doesnt look then the way I want it to.. but if I have a manual or a plan that I can use.. then I am usally ok.
